Certifications and Training

The most important job we have is to ensure our passengers are safe and comfortable. We strive to meet or exceed the highest certification and training standards in the industry to provide our passengers with exceptional service.

HIPAA Compliance:

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is aimed at improving efficiency, effectiveness, security and privacy within the healthcare system. As a healthcare service provider, we are obligated to follow and comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations concerning our customers. We take this obligation very seriously, and provide our staff with on-going HIPAA training sessions.

Sensitivity Training:

We understand the special needs and requirements of our customers and how their unique condition or situation can impact them emotionally and socially. Our drivers and dispatchers are trained to be sensitive to their needs through understanding, patience, compassion and respectful communication.

CPR/First Aid Certified:

Most of our passengers have specific health conditions that require them to use our services. These health issues can often put them at a greater risk while being transported from one location to another. To minimize this risk to our passengers, all our drivers are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid techniques.

Defensive Driving:

Our drivers are trained in defensive driving techniques that utilize safe driving strategies to enable them to identify hazards and address them in a predictable manner. These strategies go well beyond instruction on basic traffic laws and procedures. This training helps our drivers learn to improve their driving skills by reducing their driving risks by anticipating situations and making safe well-informed decisions.
